Sometimes Florida weather does exactly what Florida weather does… changes at the drop of a hat. Thus was the case for Brittany and Greg, more times than they’d care to admit. When planning her engagement session, everything was set in place, and then the day of their shoot, it poured. On the days leading up to her wedding, the forecast looked clear — until it wasn’t. A Nor’easter came through the morning of her wedding day — but the great thing about Brittany? Her backup plans always seem to turn out even better than the original plan.
Brittany sat looking out the window watching the palm trees sway haphazardly in the wind. The rain, though it fell at a soft rate, continued to puddle and flood the historic streets of Saint Augustine outside. It didn’t seem to phase her though. She smiled and laughed with her bridesmaids sipping her mimosa. If she was worried you couldn’t tell. She was ready for this day, and a little bit of rain and wind wasn’t going to stop her very marrying the love of her life.
In the Villa Blanca, Brittany and Greg were met with a roar of applause as they sealed their love with a kiss become husband and wife. Though the weather outside was dreary, and cold, the atmosphere inside the White Room roared like a blazing fire. They danced, cheered and toasted throughout the night proving that quite literally, their love could weather any storm.
Brittany and Greg, What can I say. Rainy days make for epic stories — especially in the case of you two! I am forever in awe with you two, and the kindness of your hearts. I loved getting to celebrate so many joyous occasions with you from engagements, to Christmas celebrations and of course your wedding day! The road ahead is sure to be filled with amazing things, and I know you guys will face it (with Beau!), head on. Congrats friends!
