At the EAU Gallie Yacht Club in the far back room of the Captain’s lounge, Josh sat around a long table swapping stories with his brother. They joked about how they wondered if he ever would find “The One”. He had many loves like his architectural career, and his love for sports, but nothing ever quite filled his heart until he met Allison. A few blocks down the road at her parents home along the river Allison anxiously waited seeing her groom.
When you walked into the house, it was quiet and peaceful. There were remnants of a party the night before; an open champagne bottle, empty glasses; a house filled with guests that were now beaming in anticipation for Josh and Allisons wedding day. Down the hall the rise and fall of laughter could be heard coming from Allison and her mother and sister. The three of them giggled, and laughed, and shed a few tears while they squeezed Allison tightly.
Surrounded by their dearest friends and family, they vowed to commit their lives to God and each other for as long as they lived. They spent the evening dancing and taking time to ensure that each and every guest was welcomed to the celebration, but more importantly to thank them for their love and friendship.
Josh and Allison, words aren’t enough. I can’t even begin to describe how much I loved being there on your wedding day. Thank you both for being so kind, generous, and well, just downright amazing…you made me fall more in love with what I do! Here’s to the future the lies ahead for you both, I cant wait to see what’s in store!
