Hammock Beach Resort Wedding, Palm Coast, Florida | Whitney & Greg

In the week leading up to the wedding, Whitney’s nerves were shaky. The day Whitney and Greg had planned for their wedding followed not even one week after a category 3 hurricane had just swept through the area. Much of the Hammock Beach Resort was left without power and trees and debris cluttered the grounds leading to the resort. It was the wedding, that almost wasn’t. Thankfully by Tuesday, just days before the wedding, Whitney and Greg received a call saying that the power had been restored and their day was back on.

The warm Florida sun filtered through the floor to ceiling windows in Whitney’s bridal suite. She stood in the middle of the room surrounded by her closest friends beaming with excitement. The sounds of cheering and laughter could be heard outside and down the hall as the girls sat and talked of what lay ahead, all the while catching up on the FSU game at the same time.

10 years ago, their love story began, and over the years, the picture of their lives together never changed…the story just became richer, and more meaningful as time went on. Almost one year ago from this day, Greg asked Whitney the question that would forever change both of their lives.

They stood together on the grassy Grand Lawn and said I do in front of over a hundred of their family and friends. The next chapter of their lives had begun, and together they were reminded that together, by each other’s side, they can weather any storm. (Quite literally. 😉 )

Whitney and Greg, thank you for one of the best days ever! It was an incredible experience to witness the love you two share for one another and to be surrounded by a group of people who love and cherish you both so deeply. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for you both! I know amazing things lie ahead! Thank you again for asking us to be there on your wedding day.
