Their day was a day we will never forget. Not because of the flowers, or the decor, not even because of her dress. No, we will always remember Kasey & Loneie because of their hearts.
Laughter surrounded each of them all throughout the day. It billowed out of windows in the upstairs bridal suite, to the guys downstairs across the lawn. Every where you looked, it seemed, smiling faces could be found. Because the kind of merriment they share is the best kind of contagious, and it’s simply impossible not to catch it.
The love was most evident in Loneie’s eyes, each time he looked at Kasey. Their hearts were a perfect reflection of each other, and as Kasey walked across the lawn at The Acre during the ceremony, Loneie’s eyes never seemed stray from hers. Tears of joy fell from the faces around them as they stood under the tall oak tree together and recited their own personal vows in front of family of friends.
During their reception, they added a very unexpected twist to their celebration. Unbeknown to their guests, Kasey and Loneie had helped find the perfect moment for groomsmen Rodrick to propose to his girlfriend, Chasitty. Instead of tossing her bouquet, Kasey handed her bouquet over to Chasitty. A little surprised, she hugged Kasey around the neck, and turned to see Rodrick standing their with a microphone, and a ring. An uproar of celebration ensued and filled the rest of their night.
Kasey and Loneie,
We have so much to be thankful for. First, your excitement alone about having us at your wedding made us feel like some of most important people. We’ll never forget that. Second, thank you for reminding us why we love to do what we do. Because of couples like you. Couples who are joyful, and radiant, and have the BIGGEST hearts.
As you look back, 10, 20, 50 years from now at these images, I hope that the undeniable happiness seen here, takes you right back to this day. (It does for us.)
Lastly, don’t ever stop being you. The world needs more people just. like. you. We are so blessed to have been apart of your day.
Much Love,
Sara + Chris
The look on Kasey’s dads face when he saw her for the first time… PRICELESS. Laughter, and grace. I love the simple touches they added to their ceremony! Loneie gave Kasey a pair of (amazing) gold shoes, to match his for the reception! This moment was incredible! I think I cried behind my camera THE WHOLE TIME. Congrats Rodrick and Chasitty!! These girls! And three of our #purdybrides together in this shot! (Can you spot them!?) The most epic dance off of Michael Jackson’s “Beat it!”
