Dear Aric,
So here we are. Half way to ONE. You are 6 months old, and yes, still acting like you are 8 or 9 months old.
Just yesterday you started scooting backwards. You are sitting up on your own, no problem now. You are grabbing at E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G. Our poor puppies have gotten a little too close one too many times, and left you with a few handfuls of fur (that you quickly try to shove in your mouth). But still, six months is so fun.
You are such an easy going baby. A go with the flow type of kid. You rarely get cranky when you’ve gone too long without a nap. In fact, you hardly ever wake up crying. Instead, you wake up babbling, and always greet us with the biggest toothless smiles.
Speaking of teeth. Where are they?! If I couldn’t see inside your mouth, I’d swear you had 5 of them already. You are gnawing everything you can get your hands on. We go through so many onesies and bibs just because of drool alone. And if you are ever cranky – I know it’s because those gums are sore.
You love sitting and playing your little piano on the floor, and watching baby einsteins.
You are such a good eater. Well, aside from peas. You don’t really care for them. And now you even hold your own bottle while you eat.
You still love to snuggle and cuddle, and just let mommy hold you.
You are bashful and sweet, and I love you more and more each day.
Love,
Mommy.
