“baby you’re song, you make me wanna roll my windows down, and cruise…”
~Florida Georgia Line
Sometimes it’s nice just to slow down for a while. Go out and enjoy what’s close by and around you.
It’s not uncommon for us Chris & I to take sporadic drives to unknown destinations. When Chris and I lived in Fort Bragg in North Carolina, we used to take one day out of the weekend and go for a drive out into the country that surrounded Fayetteville. At the time, we had our normal everyday vehicles but Chris also had bought a 68′ El Camino. It was teal in color, and didn’t have a lot of work done to it. We would drive out into the country and go explore. Myself with camera in hand, shooting everything in sight. While Chris deployed his dad took in the El Camino to have it repainted and fixed up – and when Chris came home on leave he sold it during the Turkey Rod Run in Daytona Beach.
Yesterday we grabbed his dad’s 68′ camaro and took a cruise down to Ponce Inlet. Because sometimes, it’s nice just to slow down and enjoy the ride, right?

We stopped in to Golden Lion for lunch and surprised my step dad 🙂 ^
