When Sydney envisioned her wedding day, she knew two things for sure, that it had to be at Hammock Beach, a place near and dear to their hearts, and it had to be timeless. A romantic and nostalgic feel. After all, thats what her relationship with Danny was; something straight out of a storybook!
Their story began back in a school classroom during an English assignment they were to act out one of history’s most famous love stories, Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. Danny to be Romeo, and Sydney to be Juliet, the two barely knew each other outside of class. But, that day the stars aligned and their love story began.
They kept in touch over the years and one summer while visiting Hammock Beach Resort, their paths crossed again when they realized they were both vacationing there at the same time. From that point on they were inseparable. Their friendship grew and blossomed into the beautiful relationship they have today. Danny already knew he wanted Sydney to be his wife, and he had the perfect location in mind for when he popped the question.
Late one November evening, walking along the sandy Florida shore he asked dropped to one knee and asked Sydney for forever. There, on the beach at Hammock Beach, she threw her arms around him and exclaimed a resounding “yes!”.
Sydney and Danny’s wedding celebration was a classic black tie affair held at — you guessed it, Hammock Beach Resort! They had gold accents, soft touches of white florals and lush greenery throughout the day. Danny stunned in his black tux and bow tie, but, we can all agree that Sydney made every jaw drop (especially Danny’s!) when she walked out wearing her Sareh Nouri wedding gown, complete with a gorgeous bow on the back.
As the sun set, these two star crossed lovers pledged their love to one another surrounded by their family and friends officially beginning the next greatest chapter of their amazing love story.
Sydney and Danny, your love story is one for the history books. You’ve walked through nursing school together, a world wide pandemic, wedding postponements and more. You’re a testament for others that love can and will over come any obstacle. Thank you for allowing us to capture so many amazing moments on this journey for you both! We know the future that lies ahead for you is sure to be amazing and we hope to capture more memories with you guys along the way! Congrats friends!
