Their journey started back in 2002. They had each wandered the halls, passing by one another until one day in study hall a conversation set their fate in motion. The first thing Amy recalls about
that first day, was Jimmy’s smile. Bright, and warm. Sharing a love of sports, (though, now, rival football fans) food, and friends – From that point forward, they were inseparable.
Flash forward to 2012. A brisk November Amy + Jimmy traveled to New York City for Amy’s birthday. It was here, that Jimmy would ask Amy to be his wife, and start a new chapter for their already blossoming lives together.
Over a decade in the making, you could feel the excitement overflowing out of everyone on the day of their wedding. Each person anxiously awaiting to see Amy in her wedding gown, and anticipating the reaction on Jimmy’s face when he saw Amy for the first time walking down the isle.
They promised forever to each other standing at the alter in the Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church – and celebrated the start of their new journey together at The River House in St. Augustine with their dearest family and friends.
Amy + Jimmy, you’re two of the most kind, optimistic, and loving people we’ve ever met. What an honor it has been to document this day for the both of you – and how amazing it is that we can say – we saw it all begin. Your wedding was fantastic in every way possible! We can’t wait to see what the future holds for two amazing people such as yourselves.

Keeping to their close list of friends, Father Richie, whom they have also known since their love story began, helped with a wonderful and personal ceremony.
Amy was beyond stunning in her Narin Moda Gown, and Kristin from A Happily Ever After Floral did a phenomenal job with her bouquet!
You can never go wrong with a cake from Publix!
The center pieces from A Happily Ever After Floral were breathtaking, and the Venetian Bar from Designed Events, Inc was irresistible!
I love how delicately their rings sat atop on of the pastry’s from the Venetian Bar! 😉 After the cake cutting, Jimmy dedicated a speech to his late father who passed away a little over a year ago. There was not a dry eye in the house.
If you can’t see it from this photo, he was a wonderful man who was (and still is) deeply loved by all those who were blessed to know him.
Amy shared with me something that has become a long-standing tradition amongst her and her closest girlfriends.
For as far back as she can remember, they would always listen to Whitney Houston’s “I wanna dance with somebody” while getting ready to go out for the night.
Since then, it has been played at each of their weddings, and they all join in to sing and dance around the bride!
(Leah, who is a close friend of Amy’s had it played at her wedding too! See it here!)
They ended their night at The River House with a Ribbon send off – how unique!
