When I’m asked to think of amazing couples in my life, I have a bunch that come to mind but Melissa + Anthony are always in the mix. They are just two amazing people. Not only are they amazing, they are natural and comfortable around each other, and in front of the camera. I had been waiting to shoot their wedding since the first day I sat down with them.
As the day got closer, Melissa started filling me in on all the details of the wedding, and how much time she alotted for photos – Now, stop right there. She set aside additional time, just for photos. Can you imagine how excited this made me? I LOVE shooting weddings. I love the ceremony, the reception, all that. But, what I really love is shooting the portraits. It’s my chance to do what I do best!
Melissa + Anthony know how to throw a party and they can also make a giant sanctuary of guests tear up. As I photographed Anthony’s face as he watched Melissa come down the aisle… I couldn’t help but think “They’ve waited SO long for this moment!”
There were so many things to love about this wedding – All the details Melissa put into the wedding; the love and admiration that just radiated from Anthony + Melissa; the constant excitement and love felt from all of the family and friends; being able to work along side an awesome bride and groom and lots of old friends in their bridal party (who were all amazing by the way!). The list goes on and on.
As our night started to come to a close, Liz looked at me and said “These two sure do know how to party!” I couldn’t agree more! Melissa + Anthony’s guests danced the night away!! Young and old, they filled the dance floor the entire time! The whole day was a beautiful celebration and I’m so thankful that I could be a part of it.
Anthony + Melissa, your day was BEAUTIFUL and I feel so absolutely honored to have been a part of it! Thank you for welcoming me into your life and allowing me to capture your celebration! I hope the honeymoon was AMAZING!!! Enjoy my favorites!
