I keep looking at my calendar and asking myself “how can it already be the end of October?” November will be here at the end of the week.
This past month has been a blur; here are some shots I’ve done from sessions/weddings in just the last TWO WEEKS ALONE:

And the month isn’t even over yet! Next month is sure to feel the same way; with 3 weddings; Christmas Minis and a lot more family shoots. Am I complaining? No. I am so thankful for being busy! But I felt I needed a blog post to get everyone up to speed one what was going on ( because *sigh* the blog has been lacking; and even though you may not be up to speed, I feel like I have been zoomin through the end of this year). I have SO many amazing posts I’m working on, which I hope to get up and live soon for you all to view.
So here’s some updates:
First and foremost – A preggo/family update!
Baby Aric is growing bigger every day. So much so that my belly feels like it’s reached its limit on stretching. Sadly, we still have another two months to go (hang in there belly, we’re almost done). We are at 31 weeks and counting. I can’t believe how quickly this pregnancy is flying by! I am SO happy cooler weather is making it’s way in. It is NOT fun being pregnant when it is hot out…. at all. Anyone who says it’s fun, is lying. Tremendously! 😉
And even though my due date is January 1st… could everyone be praying that Aric doesn’t wait until the very last minute to make his debut??
We have been renovating Aric’s room like crazy. We tried so hard to get it all done before our baby shower at the beginning of the month, and it was *almost* done… minus some baseboards, and stuff hanging on the walls.
But, it’s almost ready for it’s debut too! Currently, as I write this, Chris is out in the drive way priming an old dresser we found and are re-painting for the room.

This past weekend our family headed out to one of the local farm festivals here in town with some friends of ours, (and of course while we were there we needed to take some impromptu belly shots)!
If you get a chance, head out to the Cowart Farms Maze-Daze! It was a lot of fun with a corn maze, hay rides, food, corn hole and horseshoes, and a few other things for the kids to do as well. 🙂
Oh and today was the 50th day of first grade for David! As he says he’s “50 days smarter”. In honor of the 50th day of school, all the first graders were asked to dress in 50’s attire. I don’t know about you, but I think he would look cute in any era.

In business news…
Next weekend kicks off the last set of “mini” sessions for this year! My most favorite kind… Christmas Minis! You guys. This year I am SO excited about the set up! We will have a hot cocoa stand; the big red couch will be out again – a Christmas tree, and a really cool fireplace mantel too! I’ve already had lots of families sign up – but if you haven’t gotten your spot for them, please don’t wait! I have already had to turn people away this year for those wanting photos done in December because I will be on leave. I really dont want anyone to miss out! Not to mention, November is full for all other shoots besides the mini sessions.
You all are more than welcome to bring your pets too! It’s not just for families, it’s open to everyone. Engaged couples, Couples who are married, teenagers, families, kids. Anyone! Please please please don’t wait!

Lately it’s been a lot of renovating, working, running around, doctors appointments, editing, sleeping, things for school, and gearing up for the holiday season that some how snuck up on me. I hope soon to get back into a routine of blogging (because there are so many amazing things for you all to see)!
Stay tuned. 🙂
