Dear Aric,
Happy very first birthday my littlest guy. Today we celebrated you. This time last year, I was pacing the floor waiting for you to arrive – you were late, and I was anxious. I’ve come to realize now, you have a personality all your own. You do your own thing and thats totally okay (until, like, 16).
I never knew how much love you would bring to us. To me, to daddy, and to David especially. I am in awe each and every day at how much your brother loves you, and how much you love him! He is so proud to have you as his brother. We are so proud to be your mommy and daddy. I hope years from now we help lay the foundation for you to walk in and that you will be rooted in it, but grow in your own ways along the way.
You have made the past year a breeze. Such an easy going little fella. I think you get that from your daddy.
