Dear Aric,
I am little late posting this. Again. You will be a year old in 24 days. …24 days! I look at you sometimes and think we are no where near the one year mark, and then I think you are WAY past a year just for simply how you act!
You’ve recently met the big man in red – but you really couldn’t care less because you had no idea who he was. David tried to get you excited about seeing him, but, nothing. At least there were no tears – let’s hope it stays that way!
You’ve started talking more and you understand more words and can show us what you want. You like to say “GO!” When you we are going out the door, or when you want to try to go outside. You can say “tree” and love to go and say hi to our Christmas Tree every morning… but we are still learning not to touch it. You can say “ball” and “done” too! You absolutely LOVE Mickey Mouse and are a dancing machine when the Hot Dog song comes on (Or, What does the Fox say). You love to RUN (yes, RUN) after your brother, and race around the house. But mostly you love when we all sit down and play with cars and push them around. You’ve actually started pushing them and don’t eat them… as much. Your hair is still blonde and I hope it stays that way, but the back ends are starting to get dark.. so it still makes me wonder, will you be blonde? Brunette? Strawberry blonde?
We’ve started planning the big O-N-E, and you’ll be getting to smash a cake soon. I think you are going to love it. You have already tried stealing a cupcake from me at your cousins birthday (and succeeded).
We love you so much Aric!
Love,
Mommy.
