Along the St. Augustine streets, traffic and tourists wandered by on their afternoon commutes. As her bridesmaids hurried about the the bridal suite of the White Room, Jaclyn waited patiently in hopes of catching a peek of her soon to be groom Adam as he passed by outside. The girls laughter could be heard throughout the hallways of the venue as it ricocheted off the walls and trailed down to the groom suite where Adam, too awaited seeing his bride.
When Adam’s eyes met Jaclyn’s for the first time standing at the end of aisle in the Villa Blanca, he dropped his gaze only for a moment. As a smile began to grow from ear to ear on his face, he breathed out a heavy sigh, looking back up to meet her. It was a moment they had both waited for and it was finally here. Forever, beginning in that moment.
Friends and family from all around gathered to wish them well, and while they drank, danced, (and anxiously checked the Tennessee Game) – they squeezed each other tight, soaking in their first night as husband and wife.
Adam and Jaclyn, Where do I even begin? To say I am in awe of you is a gross understatement. Your love for one another is unmatched, but your love for others reaches for miles and miles. I adore you and your love for Jesus, and the way you are both Jesus with skin on in so many ways, to so many people. I hope you continue to invest deeply into each others lives, and your love continues to be as bright as that Tennessee Orange! Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to be apart of your love story, I can’t wait to see what incredible adventures God takes you two on!
