It’s been an amazing mothers day so far. I woke up this morning to our son David coming into our room and sharing some mothers day cards he made for me at school; and a beautiful flower plate he painted a few weeks ago for me.
After we woke up we headed over to the Atlantic Grille to meet the rest of our family for a mothers day brunch; and now we are heading to the beach to enjoy some fun in the sun.

We are SO EXCITED!
Here are some answers to the most common questions I get when we reveal the big news:
– We’re 7 weeks along; I’m due end of December, beginning of January.
– I’m exhausted. And slightly nausuous.
– We are hoping for a girl, but are totally happy either way.
– David wants a baby sister. (aww.)
– I will still be working all the way up until November 30th. (our last wedding of the year!)
– I will not be taking bookings between December 2013 & March 2014, due to my “maternity leave.”
