Dearest Aric,
I am a week late posting this. It seems these days I don’t have much time throughout the day to sit still anymore. You are up and going. There is no stopping you at this point. As soon as you mastered crawling, you were up on two feet. Everyday you are pulling up on furniture (or whoever is closest to you) and cruising around the house. You mainly stay confined to the living room; but put you in your walker, and you take off!
8 months seem to be flying by; but every day I swear you are a year old. You are such a little person now; your personality is growing every day. I started putting away some of your smaller clothes. I am still blown away at how little you were. Where has that time gone? Every morning we go for a run through the neighborhood after we drop David off for school. You talk and babble the whole time – you are my little cheering squad! We are still waiting on your teeth to pop through. These last few days have been hard. I think you have two coming in at the same time. Aside from that, you are the happiest little guy I’ve ever seen. Always smiling and giggling. You love to sit outside and play. You don’t really have a favorite food that you love, because, well, you love everything we put in front of you. You like to feed yourself most days. You love the rain and anything that has to do with water. You love mommy and daddy; but still most of all I think you love David the most. You light up when you see him; and you’ve begun looking for him in his room while he is away at school. You get so excited when he comes climbing into the car at the end of the day. It fills my heart so much to see how much you two love each other.
You fill our house with so much joy and not a moment goes by where I don’t thank God for you and David. How did I get so lucky to have two amazing little guys?
Love,
Mommy
