Dear Aric,
My little stinker butt.
My mister, mister.
My little munchkin.
You are 7 months old, and each day you make my heart grow a little bigger.
I love you because:
You my sweet boy, are just that. So happy, all the time. You rarely cry. You hardly fuss. You are always smiling.
You are so easy to put to sleep. You snuggle your elephant in your crib and squeeze him tightly as you drift off to sleep.
You love to eat.. not just baby food anymore. REAL food. Mostly, my food. But I always laugh when you smack your little lips and “mmm” during each bite.
You watch David with so much admiration. He plays with you with such love. It makes my heart swell beyond measure.
You chase us around the house. Literally. Whether crawling, or scooting, or in your walker. You just go – go – go. Laughing and smiling the whole way. We make a game of it most days!
You are very interested in your surroundings. You’ve began looking “Around” things, or people, to see whats beyond.
You are always looking up, and smiling. That hits my heart. Always looking at the sky. Smiling. Do you know who’s up there? I think you do.
During rainstorms you will sit and snuggle with me on the back porch, just watching the rain come down.
