Their lives ran, mostly, parallel. They attended the same college, but their paths never really intersected until two and half years later while standing in line at Starbucks for coffee. After only a quick hello, they parted ways again. A few months later, at that very same Starbucks, and after a few times of texting, and connecting through social media, Kaitlyn and Michael had their first date, over coffee.  Kaitlyn ran late to her evening class that night – but she didn’t care. In that bustling coffee shop, throughout the noise and chatter, she was sitting there having coffee with her future husband.

Tucked away in the lush wooded landscape of Florida, an arbor covered in flowers sat next to an open lake on the property of the Florida Agricultural Museum. Michael stood at the top of the isle, beaming. He laughed and talked loudly with guests and you could tell, he was nervous. He stopped suddenly, and smiled. His gaze was fixed on Kaitlyn. The two said their own vows before family and friends, under the shade of the Florida pines.

The evening was spent dancing, and celebrating with a sparkler exit to send them off.

Kaitlyn and Michael — err, Mikey. I can’t believe how far you two have come. I have watched you both grown up from behind my lens and I can’t believe I am sitting here writing a blog post about YOUR wedding day. I don’t think Thank You could ever suffice for the love, respect, and admiration I have for you both. Your day was beyond perfect and I wish you nothing but the best as you start this chapter as husband and wife together!
Love,
Sara
