Michelle and Casey always ran in the same circles, but they really got to know each other while working their shifts together at Buffalo Wild Wings. They became close friends, and eventually that friendship blossomed into something more.
Casey’s grandmother had lived in St. Augustine at the time so he had planned a trip for the two of them to come check out the historic city in late October. Michelle instantly fell in love with the city, and all the quaint little historic shops and places along St. George Street. The two of them wandered through the streets before ending up at the Collector Inn for dinner. Casey pulled Michelle aside and asked a sweet couple near by to grab a photo of them to document their evening as the sun went down. While Michelle posed for a photo, she turned and saw Casey down on one knee, asking her to be his wife! After a few (okay, a lot) of tears, Casey took Michelle to the restaurant across the street, where she was surprised yet again, by all of her friends and family waiting to celebrate with them over dinner!
It seemed only fitting that these two would have their engagement session in St. Augustine as it holds such a special place in their hearts for both of them! We are so excited to see these two become husband and wife this coming October at The Villa Blanca, in St. Augustine!
Here’s a few peeks from our early morning engagement session with them! 🙂
