Clouds loomed overhead. At every spare moment in between getting ready, someone was giving Carrie a quick weather report. But she didn’t seem to mind. The love and personalities that she and Chris shared couldn’t be swayed by the rain. There’s an old superstition stating that rain on your wedding day signifies good luck for your marriage – and if such is the case, then they have buckets of it.
The rain fell softly overhead as the ceremony began. Chris and Carrie recited their own personal vows under the safety of the tree canopy. They had waited for this moment, for what seemed like an eternity. And on this day, that moment had become a reality.
With their friends and family surrounding them they started a new chapter of their lives together, realizing that they could, quite literally, weather any storm.
Chris and Carrie, you did it! Nothing could have kept your day from being any more perfect. No, not even the weather. 😉 Words can’t express enough how thankful we are to have been apart of your day and what an honor it has been to document your very first day as husband and wife. We wish you the Merriest of Christmas’s together as you celebrate your marriage over this holiday season!
Love,
Sara
