Stephen had prayed many years for a woman to stand beside him, as the helpmate, and partner God intended for him to have — and God gave him just that. A beautiful, strong woman to love and walk beside him. He gave him that, in Rae Anne.
The sun beamed brightly as a cool breeze pushed through the trees overlooking the Grand Ol’Barn. Inside the barn, their erupted a joyous sound — music and laughter echoing from inside the bridal suite, only to be equally matched by the sound of the groomsmen singing down the hall. Each room filled with tremendous joy. It was a feeling that would carry on throughout the rest of their day as Rae Anne and Stephen brimmed with anticipation and excitement to say I Do.
Stephen stood at the top of the long aisle, staring down at the double doors to the bridal suite awaiting his first glimpse at his bride. When the doors open, his hands feel to his knees, and tears rolled down his face. He wore a look of astonishment seeing Rae Anne, HIS bride – smile at back at him as she made her way down the aisle through a sea of happy tears and smiling faces.
The night was spent celebrating two amazing people officially becoming one…even though everyone realized that God had joined them together long ago.
Rae Anne and Stephen, thank you doesn’t ever seem to be enough. You two make us fall more in love with what we do, just by knowing you. Your love is a testimony to others, and I know God will surely use your story and your marriage to spark the joy in others! I cannot wait to see what this journey has in story for you. If you continue to put Him first, and continually serve one another (like you already do), greater are things are surely to come! Congrats friends!
