The Florida sun beat down over the tall oaks that hung with Spanish Moss. Jessie sat surrounded by her best girls, waiting anxiously to see her soon to be husband. Francis stood, looking as sharp and dapper as ever, facing the lake awaiting his beautiful bride Jessie. She stepped out of the limo into the Florida heat, grinning from cheek to cheek as she walked up behind him through the clover filled grass, and playfully tapped him on the shoulder.
What captivated us most about their day wasn’t the way they transformed a simple barn into an elegant reception, or the confetti fired off during their kiss. Even when Jessie changed into the most gorgeous gown before she walked down the aisle; although it was stunning, it wasn’t any of those things that moved us most. No, it was the look of complete happiness on Francis’s face as he saw Jessie coming down the aisle, and that through the tears, her smile reflected his. The expressions on their faces said more than words ever could. These two were made for each other.
Francis and Jessie, “Merci!”; For braving the Florida heat, for encounter snakes during your engagement session, and most importantly, trusting us with the biggest day of your life together! You two have so much to offer this world and we are so excited to see where your travels take you. Wherever you end up (whether it be in Sept-iles, or here in Florida 😉 ) we know you’ll bring so much love, goodness, and fireworks along for the ride. We know that you’re back in Canada hopefully staying warm, with a drink in your hand, snuggled up together, maybe just helping Jessie practice her French. But, whenever you have some free time, we hope these highlights from your wedding will help you take yourself back to (ever just for a few minutes) to the place and time when you became Mr. and Mrs Lefebvre. We love you both so much! (Felicitations! 😉 )
