If you love color then you’ll adore this rooftop wedding!

Emily and Evan got married at the gorgeous The White Room, Saint Augustine, FL, in April. It was a stunning outdoor wedding, with the most vibrant flowers everywhere and the most perfect weather all throughout the day!

The couple met at NC State University in Emily’s senior year and have been together for almost 7 years ago. They are so relaxed and love being outdoors and active together along with their mini dachshunds.

The excitement before the wedding

Emily got ready at the Bella Bay Inn with all of her bridesmaids surrounding her, and there was such a calm feeling that reverberated all throughout their day.

The outdoor ceremony

The ceremony took place overlooking the bay on the rooftop at The White Room. The ceremony area was outdoors, which was so nice, because it was the most gorgeous day!  It was a beautiful ceremony, full of so much love and lots of cheer!

The reception

Emily and Evan chose to have their wedding at The White Room because almost all of their family and friends live on the east coast, and it was the perfect spot for everyone to come join and celebrate their day. The White Room is an old department store built in the 1800’s, and it’s such a historic piece of St. Augustine, especially in the loft on the third floor where the dinner was held. (I love the exposed brick and white walls – so bright with pops of bold from the brick!)

For the reception, the couple had planned cocktails and dancing for their guests, and everyone had a blast – showing off their best dance moves (with frequent dance battles between Evan’s Uncle and the younger kids stealing the show). Everyone was then called in for dinner, which was buffet style. (It was absolutely delicious.) They then gathered around the most gorgeous cake and shared their cake cutting after the meal, which was a great segue to the dancing that continued after!

The evening

The evening ended with sparklers, (which is always a favorite of mine!) – They walked through a line of their closest friends and family cheering as they sent them off. The whole day was so romantic, from the very start of the day to the sparkler exit at the end.

I loved this beautiful, vibrant rooftop wedding so much! Emily & Evan, you both have been such a joy to work with, and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for you!! Congrats!
